As all of us are aware that All India Asteroid Search Campaign 2016 has entered into its first Phase of recognition from June 27, 2016 onwards.
For this year SPACE has announced a concept of Asteroid Grand Challenge recognized Digital Badging for the participants of All India Asteroid Search Campaign 2016, in collaboration with International Astronomical Search Collaboration (IASC) and Asteroid Grand Challenge (AGC), as a pilot programme. These badges will be showcased on various social media networks like Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
The programme has received its first media coverage for this year’s Campaign in The Indian Express Tech i.e. on June 26, 2016 showcasing the experiences of AIASC asteroid discoverers.
