On behalf of SPACE India, We hold immense pleasure to celebrate one of the biggest annual festival National Science Day and pay homage day to Sir C.V. Raman, India’s first Nobel laureate in the field of Science for his famous “Raman Effect”.
“Real growth of a country was in hearts, minds, bodies, and souls of young men and women of the country” – C.V. Raman
To mark the discovery of his famous phenomenon, the National Council for Science and Technology Communication (NCSTC) along with the Government of India in the year 1986 designated February 28 as National Science Day in India.
Being a part of an organization which is working in the field of Astronomy and Space Science popularization, it’s our duty to commemorate National Science day with our young ignited minds indulged in scientific activities in a form of “Inter-school competitions”.
These Competitions will provide a platform to the students, to explore Science and its elements by using contemporary methods and technology. We are organizing two competitions namely:
- Sciencephilia-Fun with Science: Short Film Making Competition
- Online Quiz Competition
The guidelines of the competitions have been attached below as a separate file. We request you to encourage your child to participate and showcase their skills to educate the general public. The winners for the competitions will be certified and awarded by SPACE India.
